Since the early days of Web 2.0, I supported an organization focused on women's innovative and entrepreneurial achievements in technology. Girls in Tech started in Silicon Valley by good friend Adriana Gascoigne and now maintains a global network of GIT chapters.
On September 30th, Girls in Tech is hosting an intimate fireside chat around Engage, the complete guide for businesses to build and measure success in the social web. The event will be hosted by a very special guest (to be announced soon) and we'll discuss the inspiration for the book as well as some of the very real challenges facing everyone in the room.
